The diversity of the Performance Vauxhall scene is immense,
and only at the PV Show do you see all walks represented
together. Clubs turn out in force, with all cars represented,
from the old rear-wheel drive Magnums and rally-bred HS/R
Chevettes of the Droop Snoot Group, to VXR variants of Astra,
Monaro, Vectra, Zafira and Corsa.
The finest from each of their ranks are assembled for the Best Club Car competition during
the afternoon, and throughout the day there’s plenty to see and do, as many of the
aforementioned battle it out up Santa Pod’s legendary quarter-mile drag strip.
You can expect bargains too, as many of Total Vauxhall’s advertisers assemble throughout
a maze of trade stands to offer knock-down prices on all sorts of goodies, from body kits,
ICE, wheels and interior styling products, to performance engine components, brake
upgrades and uprated suspension. If the PV Show isn’t on your agenda this year, then you
really haven’t got that much going on!
